Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time
I'm Dr. Rosanna Lora, owner and operator of Mosaic Psychological Services, PLLC. I'm a bilingual Spanish-speaking, Clinical Psychologist. I hold licenses in New York and North Carolina. I'm also a Florida telehealth provider as well as a member of PSYPACT where I can meet with you in a number of different states. My post-secondary education was in NYC, and included diverse clinical trainings in major hospitals. I received an undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Human Development and Family Studies. I then went on to complete a Master of Arts from New York University in Counseling Psychology. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University at the Brooklyn Campus.
With 15 years of post-graduate experience, my practice focuses on adults (ages 21+) who are struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, or those simply wanting to live a happier version of their life. As a psychodynamically-trained Psychologist, I will help you explore your childhood for an understanding of how your upbringing impacted life choices and behaviors in adulthood.
Since in this journey called Life, there is no “one size fits all”, I also use a number of techniques to meet you where you are and to focus on your personal goals.
Having worked with all age groups, and most recently enjoying over a decade of experience working with older adults (55+) in long term care settings and in my practice, I understand the stressors that accompany this age group.
I also thoroughly enjoy working with high-achieving women, especially Women of Color. For the helping professions, including, but not limited to, other therapists, nurses, and physicians, I provide support in achieving a work-life balance to help reduce burn-out. And as a member of the BIPOC community, I will support you around issues of racial/ethnic identity, first generational stressors, generational trauma, or if you simply prefer to see someone from the BIPOC community. My goal is to provide a genuine, warm, and non-judgmental approach to help you learn new ways/tools to live a healthier and more satisfying life.

I am considered an “out of network provider”. You may be reimbursed, in full or in part, by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage by calling your insurance company. A receipt, referred to as a Superbill, can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company. Please know that a mental health diagnosis will be required by your health insurance.
